Trees Without Roots – Ella Colic

Email or texting are the typical ways most people communicate today.  How would you deal with being given letters written during a war written by two members of your family that survived the Bosnian war? That is exactly what happened to Ella. She was a teenager when she received them and it totally changed her life and her thinking.  She relates what her relatives went through to what the people in the Ukraine are going through right now. Ella says, It was like opening Pandora’s box. All the evils and miseries were exposed.
