The War in the Pacific-A Retrospective – Leon Cooper (Replay)

Leon served in the Navy during WWII. He was on the island of Tarawa in the Pacific. He witnessed the carnage of war and dedicated his later years to honoring and remembering those who served in that horrific period.  He wanted to be sure to remember those who were buried on the island when the war ended. Leon wrote a number of books, was a successful business man, made documentaries about the war and most importantly, wanted to be sure that the men and women who served our country would not be forgotten.
