Exiled: From the Killing Fields of Cambodia to California and Back – Katya Cengel

Katya is a woman reporting on the conditions of people who escaped Cambodia during the horrendous period of the Khmer Rouge.  She focuses on four families, whose stories are heartbreaking, and the challenges they faced during the genocide and afterwards. With all of the immigration challenges facing us today hearing these stories make us aware of how precious freedom really is.
